Babe and Kenzie are two girls in seventh grade, who, unlike most girls their age, are not as interested in clothing or boys, but the world of video games and making them. For their school project, they create a game application called Sky Whale, which becomes immensely popular on the internet, which encourages them to create their video games making company which they call Game Shakers, just like the show.
Double G, a famous rapper then starts to invest in their company, after meeting the girls who used one of his songs in their game without consent, but they impress him and prove to him why backing them up with his money earned from music is a great idea. Even better, his son joins the gang, a young boy named Tripe G, who is a consultant in the company, as he loves playing games and knows plenty about them!
