The original Invader Zim show from Nick aired from 2001 to 2006, and it was one of the most-viewed series on the network because if it had not been so popular among kids and teens alike, we don’t think it would have aired so much. The show follows Zim, an alien coming from a planet called Irk, who comes to Earth with a mission: to take over the world and enslave all of the humans in it. It might sound simple for our alien, but it turns out it is not.

Through his adventures of mayhem and conquering Zim is joined by a malfunctioning robot by the name of GIR, his servant, who tries his best to follow his boss, although he ends up loving life on Earth, as well as being a secret fan of humans. Zim has quite the character, as he is always mad, he is more zealous than he should be, and is quite narcissistic, putting himself first all the time.

He might be like that because on his home planet, the hierarchy is made by your height, and Zim is the shortest alien there. It is not that simple to take over the planet when Zim has to face Dib, a young paranormal investigator who ends up finding Zim and his nefarious plans, so he does his best to stop him from achieving them. People don’t believe him that an alien threat is real, so he has to do everything by himself.

In 2019’s Enter the Florpus movie, Zim finds out that his leaders never planned on coming to Earth anyway, making his mission redundant, which makes him lose any confidence he ever had, which was his biggest attribute, so Dib takes advantage of that to have the upper hand for maybe the first time ever.
