Rapunzel is one of Disney princesses which is known as the girl with very long blonde hair which was locked in a tower. The story of Rapunzel appears for the first time in the novel of Grimm Brothers with the same name: Rapunzel and later, Disney was making a full movie about our princess. Her story begins when her mother remained pregnant but during the pregnancy, Queen Ariana fell ill and if she did not find a cure for her illness she and her unborn child will die. King Frederic, Rapunzel”s father ordered to a thousand of a soldier to find a magic flower which they were saying that has magical powers and can heal the illnesses. That flower was helping Mother Gothel to stay young by singing to it so, when Gothel found out that the King was in search for the flower and also he founded, she broke one night into the castle. After Queen Arianna was healed and give birth to Rapunzel they celebrate it by a floating lantern with the emblem of the sun but their happiness will not last long. When Mother Gothel broke into the castle she started to sing at Rapunzel”s hair and she saw that her hair has magical powers received from the magical flower. To stay close with what makes her young forever, Gothel stoled the child and locked it on a tower. When Rapunzel grew up she becomes a beautiful, talented, curious and brave lady which wanted to explore the outside world but Gothel said to her that outside is an evil world full of selfish people. The princess thought that Gothel is her mother and she”s only protected her for evil so, Rapunzel resigned to be locked in that tower. One day a baby chameleon was sitting at her balcony among with a venomous snake which bites the chameleon but Rapunzel with her power raised him up and found out that the chameleon is all alone in the world so, they become best friends and they started to live together. Meanwhile, King Frederic, Queen Arianna, and the entire kingdom were looking for the princess and each year of her birthday they release thousands of lanterns into the sky night, in hope that Rapunzel will find the way back home. With the passing of time, Rapunzel was more and more curious about the outside world so, one day a young thief named Flynn Rider stoled the crown of the lost princess from the Corona Castle. In search of shelter, he saw the tower and he got up to refuge himself but entering in the tower, Rapunzel hit him with a pan and then tied him to a chair waiting to Mother Gothel to come to show her that she is able to take care of herself in the outside world. Rapunzel and her chameleon named Pascal were afraid that the young man is a monster from the outside but when he started to talk Rapunzel found out that he is a normal man so she decided to hide him in her closet. Seeing the crown, for the first time in her life she didn't”t know what it is but she goes in front of the mirror and put the crown on her head. In the same time, Gothel was down, screaming for Rapunzel to let her hair down to allow her to go in the tower. The princess started again with her curiosity of the outside world and also, she said to Gothel that she had a stranger in her closet, a young boy which she caught to prove that she can take care of herself. The witch did”t want to hear about and said to Rapunzel that her life is in that tower and she will never escape from it while she is alive. After that, the princess made a deal with the thief and said to him that he will receive the crown back just if he helped her to escape from the tower and take her to the lanterns. Flynn agreed on the plan so they were escaping the tower and starting an entire adventure outside where Rapunzel reveals a lot of secrets and finds out that she is a princess. She also finds out that Flynn”s real name is Eugene Fitzherbert and he is a thief so, Rapunzel, in turn, told him about her hair and the magical powers that she had in it but if the hair will be cut she will be a brown-haired girl and her mother, it means Gothel will lose her youth. When Gothel saw that Rapunzel dissapeard goes in search for her and when she finds her, the witch tried to destroy Eugene but the thief cut off Rapunzel”s hair. Mother Gothel has gone crazy when she saw that her skin is known full of wrinkles and her face is looking now so ugly. Rapunzel”s hair has turned into brown color and Eugene was about to die but her tears wake him up and together goes to the Corona Castle where King Frederic and Queen Arianna are happy to see their lost daughter. Because Eugene saved Rapunzel they forgot that he stole the crown and let him marry their daughter which felt in love with him and of course that, they lived happily ever after.
