For every one of them, there will be different items in the bar below the screen, and you have bubbles floating around which represent the number of items they need because selecting the right ones will place them into the bubbles.

For example, the medic will need his medical instruments, while the painter needs the brush and paints. The rockstar requires musical instruments, no? Well, select the right items for each profession, and when the bubbles have been filled, advance to the next student with their profession.
