For both the characters, in each respective style, start by doing their makeup. It is quite easy to do, as you will simply pick the shade of lipstick, blush, and eye-shadow you like the most, and then you also choose the shape the eyelashes are going to take. You then go to the dress up stages, where you pick the outfit you like most off the racks, and complete the whole look by picking a hairstyle, as well as accessories ranging from hats, purses, glasses, to jewelry like earrings and necklaces.
