You have your spaceship which you control by dragging the mouse on the screen, as the ship is going to fire automatically. Make sure to take out the enemy spaceships at the top, while avoiding getting blasted by them, since they will fire back, and if you lose your whole health bar you also lose the game and have to start from scratch.

The more enemies you take out, the more points you get, obviously, and when all are defeated, you advance to the next level. Also, when ships get defeated, some of them leave stars behind, and if you collect them, you can use them to fire a more powerful beam at your enemies, which shoots automatically, and which is easier to use.
