With the mouse you have to sketch lines between at least two numbers of the same kind, as long as there is empty space between them, or if they are next to one another.

It does not matter in what direction you draw the line, as long as other numbers are not blocking the path. After the bar down below fills up, a new line of numbers is added underneath, so make sure you keep clearing items because if the numbers are going to reach the top of the screen, you lose and have to start all over again.
