The game might be posing a question about who is the imposter, but after entering the name you want to be known as an ending up on the spaceship, you will immediately notice that you are the imposter, meaning that you have to go around the spaceship and sabotage its systems, kill other crewmates, and try to use the vents to escape.

For each of these actions, you have a button on which you click when you want to take that course of action, and to move around the spaceship you use the arrow keys. Of course, when you are up to your no good behavior, make sure not to be caught and seen by other crewmates, because they will vote you out of the spaceship, and that means losing the game.
