Use the mouse to draw back a bubble and then release when you have the power and direction you want it to go towards, so that you hit the bubbles and eliminate them, by matching three bubbles or five of the same kind. When you can eliminate five, you can also take out bad bubbles. Do not let good bubbles fall into the lava, and make sure to eliminate bad bubbles, since they otherwise make it hard for you to pop the good ones.
